Below is a partial list of lens designs and technologies we offer:
No Line Progressive Lenses
No Line Progressive Lens are designed to allow you to see at a distance (driving
a vehicle), intermediate (looking at the dashboard), and near (reading a
map) with no lines or visible sections. The absence of bifocal lines makes
this lens the most desirable lens cosmetically. Our optical shop offers
the latest technology in Progressive Lenses including the VARILUX® PHYSIO™
which provide unsurpassed sharpness and comfort. |
Bifocal Lenses
Bifocal Lenses provide both far and near correction in one lens. A visible line
divides the two areas providing a bottom segment for near viewing and an
upper segment for distance. |
Trifocal Lenses
Trifocal Lenses are a variant of the bifocal. This double-line lens provides
you with correction in three areas: distance, intermediate and near. Ideal
for older folks who enjoy computer work and book reading. |
Aspheric Lenses
Aspheric Lenses offer enhanced vision, visual appearance and comfort for high
prescriptions. They reduce the effect of ones eyes looking larger or smaller,
enhance clarity of peripheral vision and improve comfort in a lighter package. |
Computer Lenses
Computer Lenses may be needed if you work on a computer at least two hours per
day. These lenses are individually tailored for computer work to reduce
eye strain; utilizing an intermediate distance prescription, anti-reflective
coating and special filters. |
Anti-Reflective Coating
Anti-Reflective Coating is a special coating that reduces distracting reflections.
We offer the latest and most durable coating in the industry, the Crizal
AVANCÉ™ with Scotchgard™. This coating results in better quality of vision,
improved night vision, reduced eye fatigue and an invisible lens look. Ideal
for individuals with troublesome glare, halos and reflections. |
Polarized Lenses
Polarized Lenses are the best option for eliminating glare. Hunters, boaters,
fishermen, golfers, and drivers are just a few who benefit from the glare
blocking properties of polarization. Any surface can create glare in sunlight,
especially water, snow, sand, windows, vehicles, and buildings. Therefore,
polarization eases eye strain and fatigue in bright sunlight. |
Transition Lenses
Transition Lenses darken in the sunlight and lighten indoors. Indoors they are
virtually clear and outdoors, almost as dark as sunglasses, providing full-time
protection from harmful ultraviolet radiation. |
High Index Lenses
High Index Lenses provide a thinner and lighter option for strong prescriptions,
offering enhanced comfort and appearance with no reduction in visual quality. |
Impact Resistant Lenses
Impact Resistant Lenses are lightweight and offer enhanced protection against
breakage. We recommend these for children, teens, employees with occupational
safety requirements or anyone who needs superior protection. |
